We arrived in Beijing last night!  The plane ride over was uneventful and the kids really rocked the whole adventure!  We fought to stay up past 7pm, but jet lag won shortly after that.  It worked out well though, because we were up bright and early for some Beijing sightseeing.  We started with the Great Wall, broke for lunch, and then went to the Summer Palace.  This was my 3rd Great Wall trip, but it was my first visit to the Summer Palace, so I snapped a lot of pictures there.  I apologize in advance, this post is somewhat of a photo dump.  We finished up the evening with a traditional Chinese dinner where Sunshine fell asleep ON the table.  Jet lag is serious business!

Tomorrow we will shop and then catch our flight to Guangzhou.  And then Monday is Family Day, it’s still just so surreal.  I have to pinch myself thinking about being in China will all of our children, knowing that meeting Dumpling is less than 2 days away!  Thank you so much for covering us in prayer – it means more than you know!
