nicole chryst

Wellness Educator + Community Herbalist

I equip families to learn + cultivate wholistic practices that nurture proper metabolic function and lower inflammation so they can take control of their wellness and become their own health advocates. I help them find freedom in wellness by being good stewards of their bodies and taking control of their health. In addition to being a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, an experienced organic gardener + herb cultivator, an einkorn sourdough baker + kombucha fermenter, a long-time essential oils user + an herbal remedies maker, I am also a trauma-sensitive Empowered to Connect facilitator and have years of experience as an educator for all ages.

U.S. Health Statistics show

Over Half

of American children and 75% of U.S. adults suffer from at least one chronic health condition, with 50% of those adults being pre-diabetic or diabetic

One-third

of U.S. children have been impacted by at least one adverse childhood experience (ACE), making them more susceptible to chronic health concerns, behavior challenges, and learning differences

forty Percent

of American high schoolers have experienced symptoms of depression and one in five have been diagnosed with anxiety, depression, or behavior/conduct disorders

ninety percent

of U.S. healthcare costs are spent on managing chronic health conditions that are often lifestyle-based, including prescription medication for half of Americans (20% of whom are children under the age of 12)

The U.S. Ranks 34th

in global life expectancy at birth compared to other high-income countries (including countries like Japan, Australia, Germany, Canada, and Israel) and demonstrates consistently poorer health outcomes despite spending the most on healthcare

1 in 31

American children are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, with prevalence in boys being 1 in 20 and Californian children being impacted at a rate of 1 in 12.5, and the number continues to climb exponentially

But Thankfully, there is hope.

All chronic health conditions and lifestyle diseases can be supported by nurturing proper metabolic function and lowering inflammation. When we fuel our bodies well, get the restorative sleep we need, move our bodies regularly, lower toxic load, balance stress responses with mindfulness habits + time in nature, and experience connecting relationships, we can not only feel better, we can thrive and fulfill our God-given purposes.
