When the kids suggested pulling out the sprinkler over the weekend, I thought they were crazy.  But DH completely supported the idea, so I certainly wasn’t going to let my doubting Thomas self stand in their way.  Everyone got suited up, beach towels were collected, and sunscreen was applied.  And it felt absolutely amazing to sit in the sun while they skipped and jumped and ran through the water.  They had a blast, giggling and carrying on like it was the middle of the summer.  It didn’t last long, but it was a wonderful taste of the coming season.  And what a fun opportunity to witness Dumpling experience another first.  Needless to say, he loved it.  He always delights in everything.  And he’s happiest when he can join in and experience what everyone else is doing.  This time was no exception, he was definitely a fan!

We are SO ready for warmer weather.  After these last several months, it’s a welcome change and a fresh beginning!
