This is our family’s Classical Conversations Cycle 3 reading list, I hope it’s helpful for other CC mamas out there! As I wrote in my last post, this year will be heavy on reading as we simplify. Our American history studies are the basis for most of our literature picks this year, I am so excited! I have pinned our other plans on my Pinterest page if you are looking for other inspiration.
I think we’ll get started with school next week, although we won’t officially start meeting with our CC community until after Labor Day. I’ll be Instgram-ing our way through the school year. If you are over there, please follow me so I can follow you back! I always enjoy gathering new ideas from other CC mamas!

* I starred all of the books that we ultimately ended up using. This was a difficult reading year for us. Between bringing our new son home from China and the very sudden passing of my Daddy on Christmas Eve, we missed a lot of our community days. But through the summer, we have gone back through all of the missed CC grammar and chosen books from our reading list.
