I am SO excited about this upcoming homeschool year! Our American history studies are going to be super fun and we’re going to dive into human anatomy for science! The name of the game this year is simplicity though. With adding Dumpling to our crew, I want to make sure I’m not overdoing it. So I’m cutting out a lot of the extra projects related to our Classical Conversations grammar to lighten my preparation load. We’re going to be doing lots and lots of reading though, I’m really looking forward to that. And I am relying heavily on lessons from Teachers Pay Teachers for a bit of reinforcement … I know myself and know I won’t have time to create anything on my own. I’m also scheduling some interesting field trips tying into our history studies that we can do together as a family. It’s really going to be a great year!
