Wellness Educator

Chasing truth, beauty, goodness, and all things naturally wholistic.

Faith over fear.

Ephesians 2:8-10

I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart since 2003. Together, we have four amazing children, by birth and adoption. When I am not homeschooling my favorite students, I spend my days on our 7-acre property where I try my best to love my family well and experiment with hobby homesteading. My favorite things to do are cultivate my ever-expanding gardens, wrangle chickens, ferment all the things, sourdough bake with einkorn flour, and figure out new ways to use herbs and essential oils. I believe God has tasked us to be good stewards of our spaces in the world, and I guide my children to do the same.

I am a board member of The Sparrow Fund and an Empowered to Connect Facilitator. I love to dig in the dirt, cook nourishing food, capture beauty through my camera lens, watch the sunrise on the beach, and spend time with good literature on my porch while sipping on a hot cup of coffee.

2021 and beyond

Hello, friends!

As we move into 2021, I remain more committed than ever to sharing information about natural wellness and tips to create wholistic, healing homes for our families.  To do that, I will be moving away from mainstream social media outlets and relying more heavily on my blog and email communication.

Don’t worry, I’m not planning to inundate your inbox!  My goal is to send communication up to once a week, but not more.  Some months, it’ll be less.  I’m still homeschooling three of my children, so time is limited.  If you find, however, that it’s too much communication, no hard feelings!  I know all of our time is precious.  I hope you’ll stick with me though, because I believe you’ll find the information to be encouraging and empowering!  If you are reading this and haven’t signed up to receive emails, I’d love it if you’d consider doing so HERE.

I am also starting to create a presence on the alternative social media outlet, MeWe, if that’s your thing.  It’s a small presence, but I am able to post more freely about my thoughts on natural health and wellness, with some of the topics being ones I wouldn’t broach on mainstream outlets in the name of self care (too much argument is not good for the soul!).  If that’s not your thing and you don’t agree with my thoughts, again, I totally understand and hopefully we can simply agree to disagree.

My goal is, and will always be, to empower families to create natural, wholistic, healing homes where they can connect and thrive and find joy in wellness.

Cheers, friends!  And happy new year!
