Hubby and I sat outside and watched the coolest total lunar eclipse on the night of Moon Festival.  I don’t pretend to know anything about astronomy or how to photograph the wonders of the sky.  But I was overwhelmed by the beauty we witnessed.  God truly is the best artist.  It’s really unfathomable to think about His imagination, isn’t it?  We were lucky because many of our local (and non-local) friends couldn’t see anything with the cloud cover.  We had some clouds come and go, but we watched the whole event unfold from the comfort of our back porch.  Pretty amazing.  We were able to rouse one of our children from slumber, but even she took a look and then asked to go back to bed.  Kids, I tell ya.  I wish these pictures could do justice to what we saw, but I have no idea how to photograph the moon.  And some things just have to be experienced.
