It’s sort of impossible to believe, but summer is coming to a close. I don’t know how these three months flew by so quickly, but here we are. Labor Day weekend always marks the end for us, because we pack up to go home from the beach permanently (well for the fall and winter anyway). I so enjoy the flexibility of homeschooling, partly because it gives us a few extra weeks to enjoy the sun and sand while everyone else has already started the school year. It’s always nice and quiet, I just love it. This year also, I am using the few extra weeks to finish planning for our new homeschooling adventure. Despite the extra tanning and swimming time, I gotta say I’m looking forward to the new school year. I’m excited to see all of the planning come to life!
But for now, we are soaking in our last weekend of summer with good friends, yummy food, relaxed reading by the pool, playing in the sand, and riding the east coast waves.
