I know it’s not technically summer yet, but it sure is starting to feel like it! We have more strawberries ripening in the patch than we can carry at one time, and the blueberries aren’t far behind. It’s so fun and incredibly rewarding to see the fruits (haha, I crack myself up!) of our labor.
Likewise, I found a bunch of wildflowers sprouting up in the side yard yesterday from seeds that I planted two years ago. What a fun surprise to find unexpected treasures from planting done in the past! I cut enough to enjoy several bouquets indoors, and there are still more to cut later. They are so bright and beautiful and cheery! I love this season!
