Today was one of the first days that actually felt like spring!  At the end of April.  Ha!  We’ve had a few teasers sporadically, but mostly it’s been cold and sort of gray with the sun hiding behind clouds.  The flowers are blooming and today was glorious with the sun shining and warming up everything.

Unfortunately it was all overshadowed with the constant ache for a dear mama friend who lost her precious youngest baby yesterday.  Her warrior daughter fought so very hard, but she’s now dancing in heaven with a whole, completely restored heart.  The utter devastation and longing that her family is left with here on earth is so overwhelming and so very big.

Yet the beauty of today was a reminder that God is good, all the time.  “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3
