We are on day #2 of the Empowered to Connect Simulcast!  I love this material!  I always learn something new every time I listen to this training.  It’s incredibly helpful to be immersed and bathed in TBRI every once in awhile.  Even though we have already learned this material, it can be terribly easy to fall back into traditional ways of parenting when we’re under a lot of stress.  The constant reminders are just so good and so needed.  Connecting parenting requires a lot of intentionality, but the outcomes are so worth the time and effort.  The goals of teaching our children to receive care, give care, be autonomous, and negotiate their needs are so valuable!  We definitely don’t get it right all the time, but having all the tools in our toolboxes makes us confident to know that we can always apologize and try again.
