I had so much fun walking around with my macro lens this evening. My perennials are blooming and I absolutely love seeing all their new faces making debuts everywhere. Getting to watch them pop up all over this spring has been a real treat! Flower aren’t something I used to take much notice of before we moved to the country, but now I truly appreciate their beauty.
Living in the country has helped me to slow down and appreciate the stunning artistry that can be found in flowers and plants. So much diversity in shape, color, fragrance. And they just make everything so pretty! I never made much time for gardening before, but I enjoy digging in the dirt so much now, it’s a bit odd. I especially enjoy the fruits of planting perennials! A little bit of effort produces such a tremendous output for years to come, and I get to see God’s glory and handiwork in so many diverse ways.
