Our Texan cousins treated us to to a visit to the Ft. Worth Stockyards, a national historic district filled with all things cowboys and country. We walked through tons of shops and strolled around together. My little loves all picked out their own new cowboy hats, and hubby and I treated ourselves to cool new cowboy boots. We witnessed a vintage locomotive roll through the district, complete with passenger cars. We got to watch a live cattle drive right down the middle of the street – a sight not familiar to Suburbia, USA. And at the end of the day, we even caught part of a Wild West Show. We had so much fun during our visit, it really was a treat! I wish I had taken more pictures, but I’m thankful for the few I managed to capture during all of the hustle and bustle.
