I can’t believe this happened a month ago, when there was snow everywhere, and I’m just now getting around to blogging it. Now it’s sunny and low 60’s, and the kids are outside digging for rocks and other precious treasures. The last few months have been a surreal whirlwind, to say the least. If I’m honest, I’m still not in a normal groove. We are late to almost everything and we don’t make it to all of our commitments. But we survive each day, and sometimes we even thrive.
The day of the Daddy-Daughter Dance came upon us quickly too – so quickly in fact that I went shopping with Angel about 3 hours before the dance to find the perfect dress and coordinating accessories. We got home with no time to spare – in just enough time to get her hair and nails done, and then out the door with her Daddy.
Isn’t she stunning? I literally overflow with joy and pride because of this precious girl. She’s beautiful on the inside and out, with a mama’s budding heart, and completely in love with Jesus. I couldn’t ask for anything more in a daughter. It’s an honor and privilege to watch her blossom and grow into an amazing young woman.
